Early Hussein Chayalan

I'd be doing a series of posts on Hussein Chayalan's collections, because they are simply too interesting. These images are from his earlier collections, which have a slightly different feel from his later ones- more primal, perhaps? They certainly use less technology, but are equally cutting-edge. Take a look at the poetic names- he's one of the few designers who actually title his collections. Somehow, the garments shown here convey strength but expose the frailty of the female body simultaneously. What a fascinating quality.
