Though I'm well beyond that age, I admit to having a certain fondness for bright, airy, beautiful playrooms and children's bedrooms. These spaces are great for experimenting with colour, print and all kinds of whimsical decorative touches. That's why the children's section at IKEA is my favourite. In fact, I've bought stuff from there before- a dainty tea set that I've used for Sunday coffee. In London's Portobello Market I fell hard for the most LOVELY vintage dollhouse set complete with furniture. Unfortunately it costed over a hundred dollars and was too big to fit into my luggage anyway. Sigh.
I'm going for the Gareth Pugh A/W 09 fashion show tomorrow! Will definitely blog about the experience.
