Mount Fuji

The mountain in the background of the first photo is the elegant Mount Fuji. The snow-capped peak makes it look very stately. It seems like an apparition hovering over us. Oh, and my shirt in the second photo says "free style rocker".

Shinkansen

The station we took the shinkansen or bullet train from, and the interior of a shinkansen. Looks like an aeroplane interior, doesn't it?

Golden Pavillion

The gold colour is so striking! Definitely haven't seen anything like it.

Temples

The ancient temples in Japan are not only structurally beautiful, they are surrounded by trees and mountains which add to their charm. The young man in the third photo is praying by a "love rock". As you might have guessed, it is supposed to bring luck to one's love life. I'm visible in the last photo, drinking from one of the three taps of water from the mountains. Drinking from a particular tap blesses you with something, beauty, for example.

Floating structure

Outside of the Hyatt Regency Osaka. The hotel is so posh that not wanting to miss anything, we toured it before sleeping.

Universal Studios

Me and my sis at Universal Studios. There's going to be one in Singapore in a few years time. Sweet!

Ramen stall

Us enjoying a delicious dinner at a ramen stall. I miss ramen! According to the exuberant owner in the photo, pork bones are stewed for ten hours to make the soup and he concocts his own sauces. And yup, I spoke to him in Japanese.
